I always (and still do) have a ‘thing’ for phones, keys and anything else that worked; I wanted to know how it worked!. Technology was something that I was always interested in. More specifically (and as I got older), I was interested in using technology to help people and businesses alike.

Currently, I’m studying the Bachelor of Information Technology (Industry Scholarship Program) at Swinburne University. I am an alumni of St. Kevin’s College where I was involved with many aspects of school life outside of academic study including Inter-school Sport competitions, Theatre and Music and Social Justice initiatives such as the St. Vincent de Paul Society. I’m a proud Apple fan-boy and can be often seen with many iDevices on my desk at one time.

Throughout the past couple of years I have worked closely with a number of people, departments and businesses; encouraging them to see the potential benefits of technology and developing IT Solutions in conjunction with them in order for their business (or department) to grow.

I also work part-time at Visionstream as front-end support for the Emergency Alerting Paging System in Victoria. This extensive paging network is the infrastructure behind the CFA, SES and (Rural) Ambulance Victoria emergency dispatching.

Outside of the world of technology, I am heavily involved in music and the performing arts. As a classically trained vocalist, I co-captained the National Boys Choir of Australia for two consecutive years; leading the choir to an International tour of Hong Kong and China and a Regional NSW / VIC tour as well. I have also performed at many prestigious events such as Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight (6 consecutive years), Australian Open Tennis,  G’Day USA! and many more. I have also sung solo with the Melbourne Symphony and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras whilst also performing with Opera Australia over 4 seasons. I have also been involved for many years with the Music Ministry at St. Joseph’s Parish in Malvern and the Cabrini Health Choir. I also sing with the Apollo Health Music Society Choir at the University of Melbourne.
